The other thread about clean houses got me thinking. How clean is your kitchen. For me its the hardest room in the house to keep clean. I can't load the dishwasher while the little one is up becuase she is totaly into it. So I can only load and unload it after she goes to bed. How often do you clean it up a day?
A.) after each meal
B.) once a day
c.) when all the glasses are dirty
Im gonna go with B unless its been a bad day then maybe even C

I would say A & B; just depends. Over Christmas it feels like I am always cleaning it.

Its the cleanest room in my house. I clean up everytime I am in there - after every meal and several times between.

My house is a disaster, but at least it's somewhat "clean". Paper and toys are my biggest issues, with prolific kids.
I have to do my dishes each night - dishwasher goes whether full or not. The floor gets cleaned each night, as I HAVE to, with a little diva who flings food all the time. I can't stand a sticky floor, and hate bugs, so I do at least what I can to ensure that doesn't happen!!! Stove, sinks, table, counter - all has to be clean of any food.

My kitchen is the cleanest room of the house. I would say A & B, because yes, I do dishes right away after eating...but also for me, just because the dishes are clean, doesn't mean that the kitchen is clean.
We have two dishwashers (both energy savers, and we never run them at the same time, unless it's Christmas or we have a bunch of company) My kitchen is HUGE, so it takes a lot to make sure it's clean...

I must admit, my kitchen could be cleaner. I run the dishwasher every day, but the kids have an annoying habit of using every single glass in the house for a drink of water over and over again, so two hours later, I am out of clean dishes again! It's very hard to keep up a clean house with Tommy's health issues. I have to sit 5 feet or so away from him all of the time in case his trach gets secretions built up, and I have to run suction him before he can't breathe at all. I have "taught" my 8 year old how to load and unload the dishwasher and run it, but it never fails it is always half loaded or he forgets all of the silverware.

I think the kitchen is the hardest to keep clean becaue that is where my family lives. It is where everyone eats, talks, makes plan, dumps all their stuff, mail is dropped off ect...it is the place where everything goes on in our house. I would be spending all day messing in the kitchen if it was always clean.

MY kitchen is spotless w/the exception of the bar...dd is working on one of those fuzzy art posters and I let her leave that and the markers it came with there.
I try to clean up a room every time I exit it !!!!!!!!!!!
