Okay, ladies, just to move things around a bit, I am doing it a tad different today! I am putting in specific TIMES...and if you can do it, great. If not, don't sweat it..just catch up asap and join us at the right time when you can!!! I won't be on from 8-1pm, due to Vacation Bible School at church.....so I will be playing catch up myself! LOL

We are going to start at 9am!!!!!!

1) 9am......You know the drill with me..always start with a load of laundry. It is quick, and it gets you going. You have FIFTEEN minutes, as I want you to do a quick straightening of all drawers you put clean clothes into after you fold!!!! SUPRISE!!

2) 9:20am.......Empty and reload the dishwasher. Make sure to clean out the sinks, including behind the faucet!!! TEN minutes.

3) 9:35am...Clean off ALL junk on your counter tops....and then wipe them AND the stove down!! FIFTEEN minutes.

4) 9:50am...Take a FIFTEEN minute break and see how many posts you can get in on MommySavers...post how many you get in this thread!!!!

5) 10:10am....Hit the kids' bathroom. Scour it top to bottom. Make sure to check the shower curtain liner for mildew..and if necessary, replace it!! Also, make sure you do the front of the drawers/cabinets. You know how those sticky fingers are!!! FIFTEEN minutes.

6) 10:30am....Go grab another load of clothes to fold and put away. FIVE minutes.

7) 10:40am......Spend TWENTY minutes doing a mad dash to pick up all clutter in ALL rooms. Use a basket or bin for each room. Get the kids involved, too.

8) 11:05am......Now, have a race with your kids or yourself. See how fast you can get the baskets of stuff put away. If you have kids that can race, put them to work in one room on one basket, and you go to a different one. If you are alone, well, see if you can time yourself and beat your time in the next room. I am giving THIRTY minutes for this one.

9) 11:40am.....You have earned TWENTY minutes on MommySavers!!! WOOHOO!!!!

10) 12:05pm.....Vacuum and dust the WHOLE house. You can do it since all the clutter is picked up, right?!?!?!??

WE DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And, if you notice, two of our "assignments" were time for US, too...which is very important to keeping you motivated. Now that you are done, go make a picnic lunch for you and the kids. If it is too hot, too cold, or raining, get a twin size sheet and have a picnic in the living room floor. My biggest challenge for you today is to spend THIRTY minutes with your children!!!!!! See you on Wednesday!!!

Oh gosh I dont know if the time allowed is gonna be enough time for me! This place is a mess and the bathroom alone is gonna take an hour! I am gonna try though I will be interested to see how long it actually does take me. Thanks for the challenges, I hope its okay to just jump in and take part in them.

That is EXACTLY what you are supposed to do, Mommyof3...and so that you do not get discouraged, may I suggest that you either only do part of them for the first few times OR limit yourself to my time suggestions. That way you are not overwhelmed and are more likely to continue with us each M, W, and F!!!!

Hi there! I don't think I've posted in this forum before but I have been reading for awhile and trying the challenges the best I can! Unfortunately I can't fully participate this week. We are having hardwood floors put in this week and the house is a disaster! Most of our furniture is upstairs and there is barely any room to walk! I will definitely need a challenge next week! Good luck to everyone else!

Ok, I'll start at naptime. Haven't been keeping up on here lately so I need to get my butt in gear. I did vacuum under couch cushions though.
