SInce we switched DS adn DD room we are stuck with a curtain problem. Both sets of curtains fit perfectly in the rooms they were meant for.
DD curtains are currently light purple and DS are a light tan.
So.......to save money i am thinking about dying both sets of curtains. I can turn the light purples to a dark burgandy for the boys and the light tan to black for DD. SHould i do this and try to save money or shoudl i just spring for new curtains.
If i do dye I will take the ones that i turn black and put black and white poka dotted ribbon around the edges to brighten them up a bit. I just thought that black would be easiest because i don't wnat to bleach them out to white but i don't want to do them pink since the walls are pink. Any suggestions???
I am going to go to the store this afternoon so i can finish the room today!! THen i will get soem pictures up because i am very proud of myself. lol

You could definitely dye them or if you are going to put ribbon on them anyway you could use bed sheets! That is what I've done in the entire house. They are cheap and easy to do. No one even knows they are sheets either.

How about leaving them light tan and adding grosgrain ribbons to make them more girlie. You can just use that hem tape that you iron to activate and stick it on.

I like the dying idea. And I'd go with black for your dd's room, sounds the easiest.
