Default Zucchini Flowers

For those of you that have zucchini plants, don't let those flowers go to waste! When you see that the little squash is developed, carefully take the flower off the end of it. You can eat these and they are delish! Mine had ants on them so I got a bowl of water and soaked them w/ a glass on top for a little while, then rinsed the little critters off. Set them on the counter to dry. This morning I had them for breakfast. I put a dolup of ricotta cheese in the center and gave the flower part a little twist. Saute' in olive oil, salt and pepper and I grated some parmesian on top w/ a peice of toast. YUMMY!
