You could make these
HOT/COLD PACKS (filled with field corn) -- they're really quick and easy to make (just sewing squares) and are great for Christmas gifts and can be given to anyone, young or old, college kids, retired family, teachers, etc. I'm making these for Christmas for the whole family and some friends and they're both affordable and very practical! You could make up a tag to pin on them with heating directions and multiple uses of the packs.
Some uses:
*hot pack
*cold pack
*heat, put under dish to keep warm (great for taking food to holiday gatherings)
*take it with you to the car in the morning to stay warm on the way to work while it's defrosting
*bun warmer
*heat, put inside insulated lunch bag and keep foods warm
*relief for breastfeeding moms
*headache relief
*girlie problems relief (if you get what I mean.. lol)
*comfort for sick children
*computer rest for carpal tunnel (long tube, put in freezer)
*relief for arthritis sufferers
That website also has directions and patterns to make hand warmers, neck & shoulder warmers, footie warmers (slipper-like) and even comes with pre-made tags you can print off if you don't want to make your own.
