Carpet Cleaners HELP!!!

I have a Hoover Carpet cleaner with the hose attachment to clean couches. DS threw up on the WHITE couch and I went to use the carpet cleaner and the spray nozzle on the hose is clogged. The hose is one that does not detach from the cleaner. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get this spray nozzle to work??
