Dd came home with a supply list for art class. They have to keep their supplies in their locker and take them with them to art class on the days they go. So I bought a canvas tote bag at Hobby Lobby and printed an artist's palette and "Skylan's Art Bag" on it...along with the little paint splashes...ironed it on...and now she'll just have to grab the bag out of her locker and take it to class with her! Anyone could do this for any type of bag...Girl Scouts, art, gymnastics, dance, etc.

That's so cute. To show my total uncraftyness (is that a word? ), do you mean you "painted it" on the computer and then printed it out on that kind of paper you can iron on? Or you actually "painted" it on something? Great job...I'm sure she'll have the coolest bag at school.

I actually posted in barter board for someone to make a bag for me when, sorry forgot who, pointed out I could make it myself. I did find some bags but am still looking for the perfect bag. I am very excited to make the girls a bag for dance. Now lets hope I can get the owners permission to use the dance company logo.

No, I have a print shop so I went in, chose the artist's palette graphic, added "Skylan's Art Bag" to it and printed it out on iron-on transfer paper.

That's really cute! I love those iron-on transfers, they make things so easy!
