I am having a science-themed birthday party for my son and I need to make 10 kid-sized lab coats. Does anyone know of a pattern somewhere? I've looked and can't find one. Thanks!

I would think if you can't find a pattern for the lab coat, you should be able to find a pattern for a long sleeve, button up, collared shirt and just make the length longer (whatever you think appropriate for your child's size). HTH!

What about buying a white short-sleeved man's button up collared shirt? It would be long enough for kids to make it a "coat". Maybe that would work?

Target has a kid's costume lab coat for sale:

Target : Aeromax Jr. Doctor Lab Coat

You could buy one, take it apart then use that for the pattern.

Here is an internet post of a woman who made a lab coat for a larger puppet based on a shirt pattern ...

Puppets in Melbourne :: Archives for: February 2007

Here is are uniform companies that sell them:

Kids Lab Coats, Child Lab Coat, Children's Labcoats, children's scrubs

Children's Lab Coat, Child Lab Coat

Toys to Grow On Educational Children's Toys

Hope that helps.
