I'll take any suggestions. I have been keeping the house as clean as possible, especially the kitchen. Sink is free of dishes. Counters are wiped down. Trash is taken out daily. We sealed all exterior cracks a little over a year ago before priming and painting. I've had dh seal any cracks that I can find indoors. We have been using 3 month and 6 month sprays and bombs and nothing keeps them away. Please help. Can't live with the spiders, ants, roaches/palmetto bugs, and other insects I've never even seen before.

Don't ya love FL? I hate hate hate roaches.... we live in central FL out on 3 acres so we have alot of "stuff" around us. We use the 12 month orkin spray from walmart, it is about $8... I think this time of the year is bad though, we have had about 4-5 roaches in the house.

What really helped us, was when we moved to this house there were big shrubs and bushes all around our house and we chopped them ALL down. That made a huge difference in the spiders and other creepy things.

My SIL has lived here all of her life and she is just "used " to it, she says it is just a part of living here Great help!

Hope you find a solution!

I know that if you put bay leaves where ants come in that they will stop... but if you have children that is sorta impossible to keep them there...

In my experience that is an ongoing battle. I personally don't think you will ever get rid of all of the bugs. Sorry. Even with professional exterminators.

And when it rains it gets worse, cause they want to come inside and be dry too.

Sorry I don't have any advice...sounds like you are doing all the right things. Good luck!

They are. I hate to tell you that, but they are. But, the good stuff outweighs the bugs to me.

I have found professional exterminators are the way to go. Fortunately, we have a friend who is one so we get a deal!

Someone recommended I use Raid Max, but the thought of having to pack up and leave for a couple of days while the bomb does its thing and the thought of the cleaning up afterwards with two in diapers is just frightening. I've never had so many problems with bugs in this house. The past year has been crazy.
