I made a dress for my daughter this week. My husband is unimpressed, so I am sharing it here. I don't really know how to sew (I had to go back to the fabric store and have someone help me understand the pattern!) so this was a big thing for me - gathers and elastic and everything! I'm so excited, now I can actually make things.

Of course it's way to big for her, but she'll grow.

Very cute! You should be proud of yourself!! Be sure to take pics of her wearing it - so that when she's older, you can tell her all about the first dress you made for her!
