One of mine is switchplates. And the switch. You know on some switches it says "on" and "off"...I scrub those with a toothbrush sprayed with cleaner.

When we moved to this new house, it seemed like every switchplate was 'grimy' and there was dirt imbedded in those words "on" and "off" on the switch and it made me nuts...one of the first things I cleaned! LOL!

Another one is sometimes I take the toilet seat OFF because of those bolt covers that hold the seat on. I just can't seem to get them clean enough without taking the whole darn thing off.

What are yours?!?

My kitchen sink might be considered my weird-ism. I can't stand a dirty kitchen sink. I have to scrub that thing out every night and make it shine.

door knobs and handles, cabinet pulls, and the water dispenser handles...have to be clean. The dirty sticky hands around here make sure that I clean them daily!

Mine is probably the toilet also, I always say its cleaner than the kitchen--LOL, oh and the dishdrainer--(I have no dishwasher), it has to stay clean--probably something my Dad always was a stickler about that and the lids of ketchup , mustartd, ect..., My MIL's dishdrainer makes me sick! Why not just eat off the dirty dishes they are probably cleaner-I know not nice but it is true.

I would say that probably all of the above posted apply to me. I also can't stand grime around any faucets. And I have once spent two hours cleaning the "gaskets" for lack of a better word around my fridge. They collect grime you can't see until one day you notice and declare, "OMG!" and grab a cleaning rag.

I can't just wash my counters with a hot wet rag I HAVE to use some type of cleansing spray and a paper towel. I adore the smell of disinfectant.

Well, I have never done it, but it certainly makes me want to now!lol
I admit, i have never thought about the small things like that. The door handles when we moved in, yes, but not the switchplates.
But MY thing? The faucets.I am deranged with the faucets.I have to scrub in all the connections.
Then there's my thing about my brooms. You know how hair, especially when you have pets (or a mom who lives with you and has really long hair) gets stuck in the bristles? I can't stand that.So what i had to start doing was buying broom heads from the dollar store. Now i just throw them away when they get yucky.

Neither can i.We have these cheap ceramic countertops and they streak when you use only water.Heck, they streak when you use cleaner, for that matter. That's when i break out the Windex.
