I don't normally decorate too much for fall but this year, I've got the bug.

Dh balked at me putting anything out in early September, but now I'm ready! It may not be the first day of fall but I'm putting my stuff out! I have my fall wreath for the front door and then I'm going to buy some mums for the pots on the front steps and then in front of the garage as well. I bought some 'teardrop' thingies at LNT's that really caught my eye for some reason,

Linens 'n Things - Seasonal: Fall Decorating: Mixed Floral Teardrop

Mine look sorta like that, they have more gourds on them though. They pictured them on the site upside down for some reason...anyhow, they hang by a cord loop. I'm going to hang them on the house below my front lights at the front door, and then under all my lights between my garage doors and then put my mum pots right underneath on the ground.

Inside, I have some 'sugared' gourds that I got a few years ago that I always pull out and put on the kitchen table in a bowl but that's about it for inside decorating.

I've hung my wreath. It's a rope my husband found last year and brought me and I turned it into a wreath. I went out to the garage the other day to get the box of stuff I have out there, and got sidetracked straightening up the garage!

I'm hoping to get some mums, pumpkins and a hay bale, but don't do alot inside.

I'm going to start decorating next week (after DS's first birthday party is over) I was in Costco yesterday and they had a big bag of gourds, I think like 16 pieces for $6.99. I'm going to get some of those and some corn stalks for my columns and some whole pumpkins. My dollar store also had some nice fall wreaths so I'll pick up some of those too. And every year I look at the mums and don't buy them but this year I will! Oh, I have to get the scarecrows out of the attic that I got from Michael's last year.

I put up my fall wreath but thats about it so far. I love decorating for fall but it will probably be a few weeks before I really start to decorate.
I have a few other projects I started around the house and I told myself I have to finish them before I can start to decorate... So I'm working to get them done! I think I might put out my new fall table runner when I clean up the kitchen today though.

I usually have to wait until we have at least a day or 2 that feel like fall! Its been so hot that I'm not quite there. I do end up decorating in early October mainly because my kids are so into holidays that they require it!

I switched over on Labor Day before company. I don't do everything (since some of my fall stuff is more halloween-y), but I did put out my wreath, changed my table runner, and put a few scarecrows, pumpkins, fall flowers and pictures out.

Not yet...It is still summer here (yesterday was our first day in I don't know how long that it wasn't in the 90's!) I just can't put a scarecrow up in the front when it is still so hot...It just feels wrong

I haven't yet but boy do I feel the bug. I love fall and the leaves changing. I grew up in FL not to much of seasons changing. We moved here 3 yrs ago and I have fallen in love with each new season...don't get me wrong not the entire season of winter but the welcoming of the new season.

I don't decorate for the seasons, but I do decorate for the holidays. I love Halloween, so I'll be getting out my Halloween village and other spooky stuff in a few weeks.
