O.k. I'm totally redoing my sons' room this weekend. We live in a mobile home and my boys 7 and 10 years have to share a room. Their closet is so small and we've always had a problem with the rod falling so we bought a zippered wardrobe thing that fits inside. I hope it works well. Anyways they don't want a chest in there because of the space factor. So how does one store the other clothes that doesn't fit in the closet? I do have the roll out containers under their bed but I had put some of their toys in them. I am thinking of taking them out and putting out of season clothes in them. Where do I put their toys and books? I'm up for any suggestions. I've tried different things but nothing has really "stuck" and i'm tired of being overwhelmed with it all.

Do they have another Dresser in the Room?

My Sons closet has Toys , but his Clothes are in Dressers.

Otherwise I Guess you Could put all their clothes in a Large Rubber maid Tote and Store it in another room -that they could get to it?
In our Last house I Used two Of Our dresser Drawers for my Daughters clothes. But She Didn't Even have her own Room.- she was under two and shared our Room.

I guess you Could Be like me now - and Get rid of everything You don't have room for.

I am a Good Organizer but once its too much I Get Frustrated. so i end up getting rid of Anything unworn or unplayed with on a Weekly basis

Would one of those rolling carts with drawers be a good substitute for a large dresser?

Oh, i agree, the tall slim ones fit nicely into the corners of the room and surprisingly hold alot of items too!!
Shelves on the walls can hold toys too, or those easy to assemble book shelves for toys or books.
