I've always heard to spray on hairspray. I've actually tried it and it worked.

my mom had spilled nail polish on her favorite outfit 2 months ago, she just tried Greased Lightening and it came out....I knew it was good on stains that my kids had on their clothes but was ssurprised it worked on an old nail polish stain!

What do you do for spaghetti sauce stains on white clothes? Also blue stains on clothes from new blue jeans being in the washer?

Because Shout Stain Remover is so expensive I use equal parts white vinegar and laundry detergent. I put it in a spray bottle and spot clean all of our clothes. It works better than Shout and makes the white clothes stay white.

I found an article on how to get rid of grease stains on how to get rid of stuff. I hope you'll be learning a lot from this.

Yep, I use dawn directly on the spot!

I also once every month or so, wash my towels and wash cloths and dishtowels, in electric dishwashing tablets.

I work in an office and so of course I get ink on my clothes every now and then and I keep a can of hairspray just for this purpose! Haven't had to throw any clothes away because of ink!

For non-ink stains, I use spray them with Spray and Wash and Shout, then cover in liquid dish detergent.

For ink, I use hairspray.
