Gosh, I thought there was a separate board for gardening but I can't seem to find it. I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here but maybe you can help. DH just aerated our lawn and laid down a layer of topsoil & grass seed. I'm in charge of watering which I get to do about 3 times/day. I know if you're reseeding you are supposed to do frequent but shallow watering at least that's what I've read. If you water too much then the seeds could rot and not germinate. What I'm not sure of is if I'm only supposed to keep the seeds *moist* or should I get a good soaking into the top soil. I've been using sprinklers but if I only need to keep the seeds moist then maybe I could just use the hose nozel. Anyone have any tips? Thanks!!
