I do mine when we have enough dirty clothes to do a load or two.

I have to do laundry on a daily basis...yuck! I try to throw a load in right when I get up and if I'm lucky it will be finished before I leave for work I can throw it in the dryer. Then when I get home I throw another one in and keep the cycle going until I go to bed and in between the girls dance classes and soccer. With them involved in so many activities laundry piles up pretty quickly around here. I try to spend a good part of Sunday afternoons getting caught up...if there is ever such a thing! Laundry is a never ending cycle here!

I wash the sheets/linens once a week. I do laundry pretty much every day, I can't stand having a pile of dirty clothes around, it starts to get a sour smell to it!

I hate having piles of laundry everywhere. I always throw a load in at night to wash while we sleep; in the morning I switch it over and dry it, then fold straight from the dryer and put it right away. Also, I load the washer as we get dirty laundry (without water in it) and then when it's full, I add detergent and start. I am able to wash darks & lights together so it makes no difference. But when we get new clothes, I separate lights/darks for a few washes and add a (1/2) color catcher sheet.

Laundry is one of those battles I have never figured out how to win!!

I think I am ahead - and BAM I miss two days and it like multiplys by 20 I dont get it one bit -

But since their is 6 of us - it really is always about 20 pieces of clothing a day ( that includes all the tops , pants , Underwear, undershirts and socks for each of us) and then on top of that there are always extras - Dish cloths, towels , Coats , Bedding , You name it.

Anyway, thankfully we have a Large HE machine so I can pack it full , and I still do one to three loads a day.
I use the dryer only about 4 times a week though.
I don't like to put most things in the dryer, so I hang alot up to dry .... It is a Process!
My problem is putting it away .... I have about 4 washbaskets full of clean laundry right now!! I hate that part!

I do my laundry whenever it starts to pile up. I have a three part canvas hamper in the laundry room, and then a normal one in the master bedroom and one in the upstairs hall for the children, and I try to empty them when they are getting full and put the clothes into the main hamper in the laundry room. Monday is my "official" laundry day, but I think I do at least a load or two (or three) about 3 or 4 other days per week.

I agree with the last post, putting laundry away is the WORST!

I try to do it all in one day, while I'm home doing other things. My kids have a minimum school day every week, so I don't go to work that day. That's usually when I try to get it done, so I don't have to spend a weekend day doing it. I do only full loads.

These are all great ideas!! I could not stand to be doing laundry everyday! I do laundry on Monday. Wash, dry, fold and put away. It takes most of the day but I'm also busy doing house cleaning.
