I tend to keep them from the year before...don't know why I do that! Then I throw them out. I don't look at them again, why do I keep them? It's weird.

In my younger, more creative years, I used to cut them up and make gift tags.

My mother makes a special effort to send nice cards so I'll save those. If someone sends a picture Christmas card, I'll save it for the pic. I don't have any use for Christmas cards after Christmas (I know people make gift tags out of them, but heck, you can buy a pack of gift tags at the Dollar Tree), so I toss them.

Oregano...I do that too!! Every year after Christmas we pack everything away and I always put the cards in there. Then the next Christmas I get them out and think why didn't I just throw them out!! While I love the Christmas cards and appreciate them, I just can not keep all of them!!

I use them for art for the kids, or gift tags (as mentioned above).

I keep ones from dh's parents & my brother. The rest go into the recycling bin. I hate holiday clutter!

I keep them for the girls to use for crafts or gift tags. I save photo cards seperately.

I always reuse them for gift cards for the following year. All I do is cut them in half. I don't cut out shapes or anything like that. It takes seconds, looks nice, and it's free gift tags. I just hole-punch it in one of the corners and tie it onto packages. Easy, easy.
