I've noticed that people haven't really been posting to these threads over the last few weeks. Do you want to end the weekly goals posts? Would you like to do something different? Suggestions welcome.

I think this forum is a great idea. It keeps me motivated knowing others have weekly goals. Otherwise I just have my daily and weekly chores and projects don't get done. As for this week, I have no goals yet. I need some ideas.

I seem to be at a bit of a loss myself this week, although, as messy as my house is, I shouldn't be! Maybe everyone else has hit a roadblock. Hmmm...let's see what we can come up with:

- Unless someone is super organized, there's bound to be a pile of paper somewhere that needs to be organized and purged.
- How about going through old magazines? Take the ones you don't want and donate them to the library or recycle them.
- Christmas is coming. Is there anything that needs to be done now in order to prepare for the holidays?

That list gave me an idea. I'm really bad about keeping my dd's school papers for a long time. I still have most of her papers from last year! Those are in desperate need of purging. So, along with taking care of that donation pile that I didn't get to last week, I think my goal this week will be going through my dd's school paperwork.

I did one a couple of weeks ago and was excited to do what I planned. Since then things have been a little busy around there and I don't want to actually post some goals unless I really think I can accomplish them!

I LOVE the paper idea and that's my big one right now! It's the one I want to post as my goal, but since I've been looking at the same stacks of paper for about a year now I don't want to fail!

Maybe next week I'll have more time to devote to the papers!

This week...? Get thru Halloween?!?!?

Ok, this week I guess I do have some plans...

Take the donation pile in the garage to Goodwill
Take the pile of maternity clothes & premie/newborn clothes ds3 has outgrown to a friend at church
Finish making ds1's costume and clean up all that mess
Call a consignment shop about taking my double stroller, etc (or at least email my sisters to see if they know anyone who needs one)

Hopefully I can do all that, then I'll get some better goals next week - maybe takle the papers! I love the weekly goals though!

Perhaps I'll quit posting the "How did everyone do" post at the end of the week. That post might be making everyone feel pressured. I don't want anyone to feel stressed about getting their house clean; I want people to have fun!

Oh, don't do that, at least not because of me! I actually like the accountability! I'm just afraid if I post goals one week and then not do it, then I won't take future goals as seriously! I like the goals & the follow up - JMO though!

I like the goals -- in fact I just noticed on here last week that you did weekly goals. With that said, I forgot to check in on Monday and see what was going on. So let's try again this week and let's hope that I remember!
