Question How do you get the last drops of liquid laundry detergent out of the bottle?

Maybe I'm the only one in the world that doesn't know the answer to this problem. I have the worst time getting those last few drops of liquid laundry detergent out of the bottle because of that stupid spout on top. It just seems to hold those drops in. I usually hand the bottle to my dh and most of the time he can yank out that spout. Sometimes the spout is actually a part of the bottle and not a separate piece, so my dh has to cut off the top with a box cutter.

Am I the only one who struggles with this? Is there an easier way?

I just take the cap, put it under the water that is going into the washer, pour it into the container, do that a few more times, swish it around really good and pour it into the washer before the wash cycle begins. I feel pretty confident I get it all out of there.

I turn mine upside down and just let it drain into the cap. Usually by the time I go to use it, all of it has drained into the cap and I can just pour it into the washer.

I do the upside down bottle too. Since I have a front load washer, you can't put the detergent in while the water is running. One of the things I don't like about them. Another thing I do is save the bottle, and then when hand washing things, I'll swish some water in the bottle to pour on my hand washables.
