Floors-laminate floors sweep daily and mop with water on a sh-mop. This is my favorite cleaning tool and I absolutely LOVE it! Works great too on hardwood, tile, linoleum. I have a cleaning service and this is the best and fastest tool to clean any floor.

Toilet - spray all purpose cleaner all over, wipe down outside with paper towel, scrub inside w/ toilet brush.

Shower/bathtub -spray with scrubfree cleaner before cleaning toilet, after soaking for a few minutes, scrub down with scubby sponge and then rinse. Keep shower and tub clean in between with rinsing after each shower/bath. Helps to keep soap scum down.

Oven - I don't cook too much and hubby is much neater cook so he dosen't have many spills. I would use easy-off, let sit over night and then wipe out with damp sponge in morning. Just make sure to spread out extra newspapers under door to catch any drippings that may happen overnight. Wouldn't want to damage floors.

OVEN - ugh...i dread this...i have NEVER cleaned an oven in my life (i don't recall). I was waiting for it to get cold out and im going to run the self cleaner one of these days. How does that work though?

FLOORS - I use the swiffer wet jet, but I noticed everytime I wipe food off the floor, its still BLACK! so, I used the swiffer pads but I hand sprayed a different cleaner. I think it helped a little more. The swiffer also leaves a film over the floors...i don't like it that much.

TOILET - I use those blue tabs that make the water blue and that keeps them clean for a long while, but I just use a toilet cleaner and brush.

TUB - CLR works GREAT! But I usually use a squeegee on the walls after I shower and that helps with the scum.

You know what really works on everthing...that MAGIC ERASER! I have also found them in hte dollar stores. I like cleaning with them especially in the shower/tub!

Wood Floors: Sponge Mop w/Bucket (water & vinegar); Sometimes I do wash it on my hands and knees, just because I feel it gets cleaner that way, I use a sponge to wipe the floor and then a rag to dry it. I use each rag only once.

Tile Floors: I always do my tile floors on my hands and knees with a scrub brush or scrubby sponge. I use a liquid cleaner like Lysol/MrClean in water. I wipe them dry with rags. I use each rag only once.

Toilet: I actually use a scrubby sponge and my hand! LOL! I know that sounds gross, but I feel I get it really clean that way. Toilet brushes are nasty! I use a liquid cleaner like Lysol/Mr Clean.

Shower/Tub: I use a sponge and liquid cleaner like Lysol/Mr Clean etc If there is any build up, I use a Magic Clean Eraser or soap scum spray cleaner. I don't like CLR, it smells horrible to me and the smell seems to linger. I get rid of hard water stains with straight white vinegar. A squeegie, used after every shower, can greatly reduce built up on tile walls or glass shower doors.

I have a self cleaning oven...it's wonderful!

I deep clean my house about two times a week. The rest of the week I just tidy up when needed. It only takes me about 2 hours to clean on those two days. Here is what I do:

linolium floors: sweep, mop with bleach water

vacuum all floors, never just one room

bathrooms: clean mirrors with windex (I water it down) and use fantastik on my counters, toilets. I am horrible at cleaning the shower and tub. I use soft scrub when I do and a really good sponge. I also use vinegar to spray it down.

Kitchen:I use fantastik on the counters a few times a week to sanitize them and the sink.

Oven: I just had to use the self cleaning for the first time last month. We have had our stove since December and take really good care of it.

On my kitchen floor I use a spray bottle filled with a mixture of water and Mr. Clean and a sponge mop. I use a Wet Swiffer in the bathrooms. Every once in a while I'll get on my hands and knees and scrub the floor with a magic eraser.

I swish the toilet brush around our toilets once a week. I only use a cleaning product in them once a month. We have a septic tank; when I was a kid, my mom killed our new septic tank in a few years by overcleaning the toilets with a chemical cleaning product. Needless to say, I'm very hesitant about using chemical cleaners in my toilet.

I may post a separate question about cleaning the tub/shower because I'm having a hard time with this one. I clean our shower with a bleach spray and it does a great job. It doesn't seem to work in our second bathroom shower very well. There's a lot of buildup that even a scrub powder doesn't seem to touch.

I have a self-cleaning oven. When it cleans, it really heats the house up so I wait and do this on one of the coldest days of the year.

How do you clean the kitchen/ bathroom floors? Starfiber "auquastar" dry every day (It's like a swiffer dry but, reusable). Swiffer wet (not the jet style) and by hand where needed once a week. Mop n' glo a couple times a year. Also 2 months ago I bought a dust buster for quick pickups.

Toilet? Flushable brush and wipes every couple days and a regular toilet brush with lysol or whatevers on sale once a month or so.

Shower/bathtub? Whatever liquid soap is in the shower with a bath spongy only used for that purpose while I'm in the shower. Once a month or when needed with softscrub. I'm going to try srapying with straight vinegar as someone else mentioned.

The Oven? I keep foil on the bottom which I change as needed and use the self cleaning function when needed Fall, Spring and Summer. I'm really picky about having a clean oven.

What cleaning products? Sprayway for mirrors and misc, clorox wipes one a week on all doorhandles and such and misc, softscrub, magic eraser and swiffer. I use vinegar in the laundry and would like to learn uses for it elsewhere.
