I am going to be doing that this year. For the teachers and bus driver I will probably be doing the little plastic bags they have at the dollar store (don't know how well the chocolate covered potato chips will hold up though!).

I like to use cupcake liners to pile the treats in. If I got a good deal on ziplock containers, I put put the treats in the liners, and then in the ziplocks and wrap them with paper. I have used lots of different containers. Even shoe boxes. Of course if you use a shoe box, you would need to wrap the candies first.

Each year I give my neigbhors (4 families) tins of baked goodies. (The treats come from a family cookie exchange that we do each year because we can't possibly use nine dozen different treats). I use tins that I've received over the years or have picked up at garage sales. I line the tin with a holiday towel, which would also work well with a shoebox or basket. Every year I buy the towels after Christmas for the following year (so they cost a dollar). This year I'll add a dishcloth that I've crocheted. Sometimes the neighbors return the empty tin so I can reuse it. Last year one of the neighbors gave us a little box of treats. Another neighbor made homemade eggrolls, wrapped them in foil, and brought them over while they were still hot. The wrapping wasn't fancy, and didn't need to be since the eggrolls were out-of-this-world!

I like to give homemade treats, also. Like hearing others ideas.
