That's my daughter! Or she's "helping" me which sometimes is even worse. She has her own spray bottle with water in it. Yes, that idea has bitten me in the bottom more than once. Seemed like a good idea when I gave it to her.

And now that the baby is older, 4 months, he'd like to hang out on my hip while I clean. Lots of movement and he can watch. Yet I can't get a lot done when the little Chub Man is wanting to be held. I usually rotate him from his swing, to his bouncy sit, to his saucer, and then to the floor mat. No wonder my back is hurting all the time right now. Sometimes I just give up and hold him.

As for hobbies, winter months I sew, I try to involve her as much as possible which sometimes is difficult when I'm running a sewing machine. I have her help pick out colors and I try to include glitter as much as possible! These are all done while the baby is asleep.

I do most of my cleaning when my 2 year old is sleeping. I get something out for my 4 year old that she can't do without interruption when my 2 year old is up.

i use to clean durning the day but then my kids are behind me making a mess plus my one son has some problem that makes it hard to clean so i wait till they all go to bed so i do not clean until 9 or 10 i do not deep clean unless my dh has a day off from work and when he doesnt go hunting to i barley have the time to clean.

I haved a fifteen month old and in every room I have a bag or basket with a couple toys to play with. Then for example when i have to out away clothes in my bedroom she can play with the play necklaces, teddy bear, cards and book. These toys she does not play with any other time so it keeps her busy at least for a couple minutes

We're supposed to clean too???

At this point my oldest has started at a Mom's Day Out program for 2 days a week - SO, the days he's home I try to do the chores he likes to help with! (folding laundry, vacuuming, etc) The day's he's in school I try to do the things I don't want him around for during naptime (bathrooms, etc).

What doesn't get done, doesn't get done! I feel horrible about it, but that's just the way it is right now! -- speaking of, I should probably get off the computer and start on the bathrooms before ds#3 wakes up to eat! We've got to go pick up ds1 in a bit!!!
