I read that alot of you use bleach, vinegar, and amonia for cleaning instead of buying cleaning "potions" at the store.

Please Please Please tell me what to use each one for I am new to this...

Bleach

Vinegar

Amonia

and anything else that works really good would help me out more then you know...thank you

Wanting to clean really well---cheaply,
Danielle!

I don't use ammonia at all...

As for bleach, I use it in the laundry and then in the kitchen and bathrooms. I have a spray bottle that I mix a 10% bleach solution and use it where it's needed. Sometimes I use it straight, it just depends.

Vinegar, I buy the huge bottles at BJ's ($2.99 for 5 liters) and use it all over the house to clean things like wood floors, woodwork, hard water stains etc Sometimes I use it straight and sometimes I dilute it. You really can't mess it up, it's very forgiving. LOL Just google "vinegar" and "cleaning" and you'll get tons of recipes.

A lot of it is just trial and error. What works for one person, just might not work for someone else. Just try a few things and see how it goes!

Good luck!

I've been thinking of switching to vinegar too! Here's a website someone else here posted once! I was planning on printing off the tips so that I can start cleaning, but my printer was out of ink! I guess now that I have ink again maybe I can print them off and try it!!

Hope this helps... Vinegar Works.Wonders.

Thanks so much for the article and tips on vinegar. I am totally going to start using vinegar instead of cleaning chemicals.
