I'm posting these here because I have a lot to do this weekend and I figure this might motivate me! If anyone else is has a lot planned this weekend, join in with me, please -- it will be great to know I'm not alone!

1. Re-organize the back porch area. I just put up new curtains (that I made myself) that I'm really excited about and can't show yet because the rest of the room is a mess.
2. Clean bathroom and have my daughter go through her bathtub toys -- her basket is overflowing.
3. Sew my bedroom curtains.
4. Mop the floor. I have very little carpet and this is a large project all on it's own.


This is it for now. I might add more later!

Dh is working on the windows preparing for winter! I have laundry, grocery shopping, and deeper cleaning.

Last weekend we played so this weekend is working at home one reward will be taking the kids to the pool for open swim this evening after all the work is done

I normally do a weekly goals thread where you post what you want to accomplish for the week. I didn't do it this week because the board was down until mid-week, but I'll do a goals thread on Monday. If you have more things you want to accomplish around the house next week, please add your list to the thread.

For this weekend?? I'm hoping to get the house cleaned up! This morning DH and I were on a cleaning frenzie! DH did the dishes (2 loads) and swept and mopped the kitchen (it needed it). I did a pick up of the living room, playroom, and the boys rooms! The boys helped me (kinda)!

In a little bit I plan on finishing up the kitchen (i need to get the counters cleaned off) it's almost done! I also hope to get my bedroom cleared out! That'll take DH's help doing his side though so we'll see!

I'm still working on the back porch but all my clothing is washed, dried, and one basket is left to be folded. Of course I was thinking; my husband is going to be home on Monday (which is good he's been gone a week) but he's also going to have a week's worth of dirty clothes

Goals for this weekend?
-Clean out under kitchen & bathroom sinks, reorganize & toss what I dont' need anymore ---> DONE
-close off all holes under sinks with aluminum foil & put out DCON (keep those buggar mice out of my cupboards!) ----> DONE
-finish up washing/drying/putting away every STITCH of dirty laundry in this house
-do SOMETHING with bin of paperwork & stuff in living room

Weekend goals -- well did NOTHING today, kind of a loungy day around here. But tomorrow is a different story:

6 year old to religious education class
ton of laundry - washed, dryed, folded and put away
have dh re-hang tire swing (that is going to be our holiday picture this year)
really need an oil change in my car
vaccumming the entire house
grocery store (UGHHH)
Cub Scout Pack meeting at 6 where my 6 year old gets his first badge

Ok! I got the back porch cleaned!!! I have before pictures - trust me this was an accomplishment! Though I do need to mop the floor.

I finished all my laundry though I need to put my sheets back on my bed.

The bathroom is pretty much done, just a bit of a wipe down. Tomorrow I'll have my daughter go through her toys in there.

I still have tomorrow but I'm leaving town at about noon and I know I'm not going to get my curtains for the bedroom done. And it will be a push for all the mopping but if I at least get the kitchen and my back porch -- that will be something.
