Question HELP-Cleaning Coffee Pot

I know i heard on here awhile ago its good to run some vinegar through your coffee pot for a good clean does anyone know the vinegar water ratio? I dont want to put too much in and have funky coffee!

I've run straight vinegar thru before...no problems. I don't think the ratio matters much. If you think it's really clogged, consider using straight vinegar. I always run a pot of plain water thru afterwards.

I did run a couple of rounds of straight water afterwards. Just getting ready to make an afternoon pot right now!

I just cleaned my coffee pot not long ago and ran straight vinegar through it - 3 times. (New vinegar each time.)

Then I ran 3 pots of clean, cold water through it. No vinegar taste here.

Mine's just a 4-cup coffee maker, so it's not that big a deal to use that much vinegar to me. I just cool, then use the vinegar for other uses around the house. HTH.
