We finally got our new TV last month. It is a 42 inch LCD HD TV that my husband has wanted for awhile.

But, our entertainment center does not fit it. I told myself I was not going to worry about it until after Christmas and here it is. We have it on top of the entertainment center right now, which obviously is not going to be permanent.

So, does anybody have theirs mounted on the wall? Do you think I should get a console and then a media cabinet separate? I don't want to spend a fortune. I have been looking online and at craigslist, but have not found anything yet.

Not very handy at all! I would be afraid he would cut his hand off! He has other talents, but handyman is not one of them.

calling a handyman service might be cheaper than buying a new entertainment center if you can't find on in the the paper or craigslist.

Do you like it on the wall? Is it safe from the kids? What do you do with all the extra stuff like DVR, etc.?

Our entertainment center we have now really does need to be replaced. Our last TV caused it to be bowed a bit.

yes I love it on the wall Tho we need to something with the wires!!

Iwe have a 36 tv and a 50 for Dh!! They both are on the wall
and we have the DVD player and all in a TV bench thing I got at Ikea for 199!! we sold our HUGE entertainment center on Craigslist and used that money to get one!!

our unit is similar to this only 2 Clear doors so that the doors can be shut while using hte remotes!!
IKEA | TV solutions | Flat screen- TV furniture | TOBO | TV unit
they do not make the one we havenaymore!!

I love havign the space on top of the TV unit!! maybe in a bit I will clean off the TV stand and take a pic to share with you!!

If you would not mind, that would be great! I am just having trouble envisioning what to do with the wires. My parents have their wires hanging down and a built in area for their media stuff.
