I enjoy washing my car from home. I really do. It's great exercise (wax on, wax off) but also it's nice to be outdoors and getting some fresh air. Plus it allows the boys to "help out" in doing something they consider fun. It's also a nice way to save some money (FTJP people )

When we do use the car wash, it's a treat....and sometimes freaks out my youngest!!! LOL

A little of both. If it is the middle of the summer, it can be horrible to wash a car so we sometimes take it to a car wash. Any other time of the year, or if I want to sweat like a pig and have the time, at home. Also depends on the time constraints.

Dh and I are VERY picky about car washes and they have to be a particular kind with no brushes, only soft cloth. We do sometimes wash/wax at home but most of the time we use the car wash.

We use brushless car washes. It's $6 to get a basic car wash or $8 for 'the works'. I drive a Suburban so the $8 is worth it.

I also wash my car at home. I enjoy it and the boys have fun playing with the water.
My dh hates to wash cars- and I kinda hate it when he decides to help and wash mine- he does a not so good job and the van looked better before he washed it

We do both, but right now we are still under water restirctions (Not enough rain) that we can't wash at home.

In the colder weather its usually the BP or Sheetz when its warmer out they go to the self car wash. We have a weird driveway (very narrow) and with the van its too hard to wash at home!
