Does anyone's kids make valentine's for school. I have 2 DDs ages 10 and 5 and thought it would be neat for them to make their valentine's this year. I would love any ideas.

My daughter and I made Valentines last year (idea from Family Fun magazine, I think) that looked like gumball machines & in the center we cut out a circle and attached a ziplock bag with gum inside. Stuck a label on the bottom that said " I "chews" you to be my Valentine. They were really cute.

we usually make them!! I make it a fun family prodject!! I use my diecutter for hearts and go from there!! we will put a cute sucker or pencil with the heart and make a cute thing out of it!! this year I was thinking of having htem use the hearts to make butterflies with the pencil!!! who knows tho!! they do not put other kids names on it so its easy!!

When dd was in kindergarten, she had an adorable red dress. I took her picture in it with a pink sheet in the background (my own makeshift photo studio). In photoshop I added the text, "Happy Valentine's Day!" So, the cost to me was whatever it cost to have a 4x6 photo printed (right now there's a code for 5 cent prints at Clark Color). Plus, it was a lot more unique than the store-bought Valentines.
