One of my goals this year is to get better organized. I've been reading a lot of organizational books that have inspired me to use more baskets....cute ones I might add.

When I go to shop for them, I get so overwhelmed with the sizes, the shapes, and especially the prices of them.

Where can I go to get a good deal on **cute** storage baskets that won't break the bank?

I got two sets of baskets from LLBean, gosh...10 years ago and they still look brand new! they were well worth the money. I see baskets all over the place, but you can tell, just by looking at them, that they're cheaply made and won't last. Unfortunately, I think it's one of those things, that you really get what you pay for.

Check out The Container Store, if you have one near you...they have great ideas. They can be expensive for some things, but they stand by their products and have great customer service.

I usually go for the cheapo variety. I get them from Pier 1, TJ Maxx or other similar places. Some hold up better than others.

I like to organize with plastic shoe boxes. I like that they have a lid, I can stack them and the contents don't get dusty.

I also have a variety of baskets. My Longaberger baskets were given to me and are my favorites. I use them for storing things, not just decoration. I agree that the Container Store has great items. I bought my shoe boxes on their site.

Peir 1 imports or cost plus/world market if you have these close to you. They can be expensive here though they have sales and BOGO. Also TJ Maxx or Marshalls, Ross.
I have even seen in the JC penny catalog.

I love baskets and I honestly just pick them up when I can find them on sale. Pier 1 runs there baskets a lot of times 50% off which is where I have bought most of mine. Garden Ridge is another place.....

I go to TJ Maxx or similar store. You can usually find a good variety at a good price.

Has anyone used Ebay for crate and barrel type baskets? I went to do a search for baskets (in a lot auction) and a bunch of crate and barrel hits came up.
