I got some stuff in from Old Navy and the shrts were a little big but a size smaller is too small--anyway I washed them to see if they would shrink and now my new sweater looks like its a 100 years old, it has pills-not sure what you call it--all over it. How can I get those off?

Maybe a lint remover? Or one of those defuzzing things?? Sorry the sweater didn't wash well.
