I have 2 sweaters, that i washed and they shrunk!
now they don't fit.
I don't want to throw them out,
what can I make with them? any ideas?
(besides scarfs and thinks like that, bc im in california, not too cold here)
1 sweater is fushia the other is turquoise.
please help with any suggestions...
I was thinking some sort of cutting them up and sewing them back up into a
top of some sort...

You could make a camisole top out of them. One that you could wear under a blazer or something like that. A simple shape would even look good....like just making it a tube with two straps on the top. I'm actually about to do the same with some old shirts that I have. THey are too short for me to wear anymore after my c-section (I don't want to lift my arms and give people a gander at that!! haha) but I don't want to throw them away, so I'm going to make camisoles out of them to wear under other sweaters, blazers or jean jackets.
You could also make sweater pillows out of them.

I know if you google you can find tons of ways to reuse old sweaters.

Could you get them wet and maybe restretch them, I know my MIL used to do that to DH's stuff when he shrunk it.
