That a lot of people seem to have?

I hardly ever buy kleenex. The kids just have always used a piece of toilet paper. It really horrifies my mother. They each have boxes in their rooms and I don't think they've been used once! I keep travel packs in the car, and those do get used...probably because we're not near the bathroom.

I also don't ever buy bar soap for the bathrooms. I have an endless supply of small hotel soaps from all of Dh's travels.

I also don't buy Kleenex. But, yes I do have one box in my car that I bought last WINTER.

So far that is all I can think of...

Wait, I DO NOT buy windex, toilet bowl cleaner, or shower cleaners. I use vinegar and baking soda. I have that Shower thing that you press the button well, when it runs out it will be filled with Vinegar and possible a drop or two of dawn dish soap. I also don't buy sponges. (YUCK)

I don't buy kleenex either. I keep a box (generic) in the car but we use tp at home.

I never buy bathroom cleaner. I use scouring powder for everything.

I don't buy dryer sheets. I use dryer balls, but because my detergent is free and clear (NO SMELL) i did buy a liquid softner for the smell. Put some drops on a washcloth stick in the dryer.

Oh yeah, I never buy dryer sheets either. I just don't think they are necessary. Never had a problem.

What about them blue things you put in the toilet and everytime you flush it cleans it? I don't buy them.

I recently bought some Kleenex -- they seem to be all the rage here and I kept getting funny looks when visitors would ask where I kept them. I don't buy a lot of chemicals -- I'm getting pretty good at the green cleaning thing. I also don't own a mop (I wash by hand and use my own clothes on the swifter) and I don't have a toliet bowl brush (I use a disposable plastic glove on my hand) -- toliet bowl brushes kind of gross me out.

My family uses a lot of tissues. I can't imagine my 4 year old using TP, she'd use half the roll

I never shop the cleaning supplies aisle at the store unless I need laundry or dishwashing detergent. I rarely buy cleaners. When I do, I splurge on Method tub & tile instead of vinegar!

Good thing you don't buy the blue things for your toilet! They are not good for your septic, the environment or the parts in your toilet. They will eat away at the rubber parts.

Taylyn -- I've had that same exact conversation with my husband on the mop! He went to grab it one day and came back, "Where's the mop?" I was like, "Oh, I threw it out." Like 2 years ago! He couldn't even comprehend that we didn't have a mop!

Of course it was about a month later when he found out about the toliet bowl brush. My poor husband - he has such a hard time with me!
