Of course I do put my kids clothes away, they are 3 and 5 so I can only imagine what their dressers would look like if I didn't. For those of you with older kids, when did you start having them put their own clothes away?

When I was working I didn't put DH's clothes away. Now that I'm home I do. I think the main reason I do is because when I decluttered our closet his side looked awful when mine was clean so I did his and now I'm a bit obsessed with how things are put away LOL.

I put DH's clothes away...he HATES picking thru a basket of folded laundry. LOL I really don't have a problem with it. I usually put the kids folded clothes on their bed or chair in their room and they put it away themselves. They know where everything goes and I do all the folding, so it stays nice. Sometimes I put their stuff away, it really just depends.

I put dh, mine and the 4 yr old's stuff away. My other kids all do their own. My 4 yr old was putting his own clothes away, and he was really enthusiastic about it, but I could never find anything

I do not put anyone's clothes away. I wash them, fold them, they put them away. Every Tuesday we put them away together. My son puts his shirts on hangers and I hang them up, then he starts on what ever is left, then I leave his room and put mine away same time that my SO puts his away.

I put my 2 year old & my husband's clothes away. My almost 5 year old puts her clothes away very well. She is also enthusiastic about it.

ds is too little (almost 2) so of course I put his clothes away.
dh is 34 so he puts his own clothes away, I think he's old enough for the responsibility.
I do fold dh's clothes for him and set them on his side of the bed, but that's more for me so I can be done with laundry and put the basket away.

I put everyones clothes away but when the kids get older I will make it their responsibility. Its just easier to put dhs clothes away because otherwise I will just angry seeing the basket day after day with clothes he needs picked out

DH does his own laundry so he puts his own clothes away.

DD, currently age 6, has had to put her clothes away since she was 2. Of course, she gets supervision and some assistance but it is still her responsibility. Sometimes she shoo-s me out of her room so she can do it all herself. She's so proud of herself when she doesn't need my help.

I put dh's clothes away. If I leave it for him to do he just dresses out of the laundry basket. For the most part I put Alex's clothes away but he is expected to help.
