I need to spring clean my kitchen and the floor needs to be down so bad. I wanted to get the Shark Steam Mop but reviews weren't that great. SOOOOOOOO, does anyone have any good cleaning porducts that would get the tile and grout clean again. The tiles are called Duraceramic tiles. I think I'm going to have to do it on my hands and knees so don't want something that will kill my hands.

If anyone has any advice or suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I have 1 week to met my house cleaned up.

Thanks

I haven't found a mop yet that I really like. Not even the swiffer it seems to leave a slippery film on my floors so I usually get down on my hands and knees and clean. what i have found though is that the magic eraser does wonders on tile grout. when I moved to this house it looked like the grout was never cleaned. it was completely black. i took a magic eraser to it and low and behold i had white grout! lol. it is a big job though. I have seen that steam mop on tv and it looks really cool. but i don't know anyone that has it.

We have tile/ wood through out our house, i clean them with vinegar and hot water.
What color is your grout? If it's white try using whiting toothpaste to clean it with. It really does work ! I have also seen grout cleaner in at places like Lowe's and Home Depot you may try something like that to.

If the grout could be white then use cascade. It makes it sparkle. I use a deck brush which is a scrub brush with a nice long backsaving handle and it really does a great job.

The Tide bleach pen works well on white grout, also. After you get the grout clean, there's a sealer you should paint on the grout every year. It helps keep stains from sinking in.

I've cleaned tile floors with our carpet cleaner a couple of times.
Everyone kept telling me how much I would love my new ceramic tile flooring. I DON'T! They are hard and cold and not that easy to clean.

We have a tile floor in our kitchen. TO clean our grout I use a magic eraser. They do wonders. I buy a big box of them at sams, its mich cheaper than getting them 2 at a time.
