So I pared down my magazines, but still have some cooking ones I want to keep for future reference. they were all over - you know how magazines are. I was at Walmart the other day and I grabbed a 25pk of sheet protectors and a couple $1 hardcover binders. I slid the nice magazines I use into the protectors and put them in one binder. I'm in the process of going through the other cooking magazines that I only like a handful of recipes out of and ripping the pages out, 3 hole punching them and putting them in the other binder. There really is no way to categorize the pages, but they're all together and all recipes that I want to try contained in one place. From a pile of slippy slidey magazines to two crisp clean organized and contained binders -- totally awesome! I guess you can buy sanity - only cost me $5 at Walmart!

when organizing magazines, i make those magazine holders out of old cereal boxes! cheaper than paying for me and pretty sturdy too! i have all my cooking mags in the kitchen and all of my "home decor" mags in the living room. DH has all his mags in a HUGE basket in the bathroom!

yea i tried to do this but the cereal boxes just fell apart - and they were heavy duty. I move the boxes around so much to use the magazines in them that they just didnt' hold up.
