I'm just curious. If I ignored it (not that I'm capable of that ), I think it could just be left there for months! My husband never notices it! Except when we had the teenage boys and he would remind them to change it. I would always laugh (to myself of course) when he would lecture the boys about how hard is it really to change it. Of course one of the boys caught him not changing it one time.

In the master bath, it's usually dh or I.

In the kids bath, I have one Ds8 that will change it. The other Ds8 and Ds11 ignore it.

whoever uses the last of it. But I usually stock an extra roll in the bathroom.

My DD is responsible for the TP in her bathroom. As far as the main bathroom whoever empties it refills it.

I keep extra below the sink and when it is empty I don't think that I have ever seen it on the roll. It is always on the sink counter! So apparantly it is my job. When the girls get older we will have it as you use the last you replace it rule.

I have a tier wrought iron basket in each bathroom. The top basket has several extra rolls of tp, and the bottom has dh's magazines.

Both of us will replace the empty roll, but dh always uses one of the rolls in the basket instead of the one on the holder. Now I have a lot of used rolls in the basket. This drives me crazy!

The person that empties it changes it. My oldest (4) loves to change it. She likes to help.
