My best friend asked me to make her a church baby doll for her daughter's baptism gift. I've seached on-line for directions and they are confusing. Is there anyone out there that has ever made one? It's a doll that is made from a hankie. Basically you fold the hankie, stuff a little with cotton batting for a head and tie that off with ribbon. Then, tie knots at the tips of the hankie for the arms & hands. I'm having a problem with getting it to look like a doll and not a ghost! Thanks for any help you might have!

I had never even heard of a church baby doll until this post. I looked them up online and they are really pretty. I have no tips, but good luck! Maybe you can post some pics when you are done?
