Help! I am painting a tree trunk in my dd's room. For the leaves, I am cutting out leaf shapes from various material that match the colors in her room. How do I stick the leaf-shaped material to the wall?

Probably a craft glue I would assume.

Anyone else?

Well..hot glue would work but will probably damage the walls. What about cutting a posterboard to fit the area - you could staple or nail it up then glue the leaves on it?

We just did one in my ds's room and by using a regular brush to apply paint in a half circle motion from the outside in - I ended up with a very realistic looking tree top. GL!
