Does anyone have a list of major cleaning items that need to be done once a year, or every six months? Here's what I thought of:

freezer
cupboards
oven
baseboards
doors
walls
clean out closets
garage floor
organize pantry
windows
blinds

I thought of another important one: vacuuming the refrigerator coils.

Yes, the vacuuming the refrigerator coils is a good one, I do that every 3-4 months. Hmm...I'm thinking I must clean too often because I do a lot of those things monthly and every couple months...

How 'bout washing out the lent trap deal in the dryer!

Our last dryer repair guy pulled ours out and showed me how clogged it really was even when it looked clean. He showed me how to pull it out and scrub it with a scrub brush (he used the one we use on the carpets) and some liquid dishwashing soap & water. Make sure you scrub it till the water can run through it without making a puddle first. He said to do it every 6 months I think!

No such thing as cleaning too often! I do most of these more often too, but I need a master Spring Cleaning list.

Clean oven
Clean/Change Vacuum Filters
Vacuum/Dust Ceilings
Clean Ceiling Fans/Light Fixtures
Clean Filter on Stove top Exhaust fan

These I do a little more often than six months, but I am doing them all this weekend, so I might as well list them!
