I don't think I've done mine enough. I bought it with the idea of washing it now and then instead of getting the plastic one that they recommend tossing every 3 months or so.

On the bright side I did wash it this past weekend so currently it is clean!

Once every three months, but we have glass shower doors and the shower curtain is just because it matches the rest of the accessories in the bathroom.

So it rarely gets dirty at all because of the doors.

OK, here's my next question! How do you remember to wash them every three months? Any tricks?

It's white and so are the towels so I just toss it in together with bleach and hot water every week. Our bathroom has no windows and we find the mold grows quickly on the plastic shower curtain. This way it keeps it mold free.

How about writing it on the calendar. That's how I remember to change the water filter every 3 months.

I don't wash them anymore...they just never washed very well for me. I don't have to change ours very often, maybe once a year? I give it once over every week when I clean the bathtub/shower and don't have a problem with mold or soap scum for some reason.

I probably wash them once every 6 months just so that i don't feel like I havn't washed it. It's never dirty, moldy or scumy since it gets cleaned once a week with the tub. I also have about 3-4 shower curtains with liners, so whenever I change, I wash.

The calender is a good idea.
When I go in the shower and see the plastic curtain looks like it needs to be changed. I get a new one of those and wash the curtain.
