I have 3 end tables, got rid of the coffe table years ago after the kids were done learning to walk.

I have 2 end tables by the couch and they each have a lamp, doily underneath the lamp and coasters and the one also has a bowl of potpourri and the other one has a shelf that has some mags.
The table by the loveseat has doily, coaster and a little shelf with another bowl of potpourri.

Do you actually use them or are they just clutter keepers?

I have 2 - not usually any clutter on them...

1 has a lamp and the phone/anwsering maching
1 has a lamp and the Kone! (handheld vaccum)

Let's see ... currently, dinosaurs, ponies, a book about T Rex's and a pink basket. Oh, and don't forget, Blanket.

I have 2 end tables. One has Megan's preschool pic, DH's small canoe shelf with his breakable dogs on it (don't ask - I want to put this one in the yard sale!!) and a coaster. The other one has a pic Abby, a lamp and coasters. I also had a coffee table but got rid of it when Megan was learning to crawl to give her more space. I haven't missed it either -- it WAS the clutter catcher.

I have 2 end tables. One has the remote console (it holds all our remotes in it), and one picture frame with the baby held by this two aunts. One the other table, I have a small statue figurine, and two small picture frames (one with baby and one family pic), and it also has a set of picture albums. We also have a matching coffee table which has 4 drawers and a shelf at the bottom, but we don't have anything on the table. I can't stand to have anything on top of the table. That's where the kids do their homework or art projects.

I don't have any end tables anywhere in the house...

I have four coffee tables (family room, office, living room and basement). Only one of them has something on it, and that's the table in the office. It has a low basket for decoration. I just don't like a lot of 'stuff' around, so I prefer tabletops and surfaces to be bare for the most part.

On my end table I have a lamp, an longerburger tissue basket, and a remote controll holder shape like an old tv. I also have a antique vase.

On my coffee table I have a antique bowl with ornamental balls in the center, on one side of that I have 3 small antique bowls that are painted and on the other side a set of candle holders.

I have no end tables or coffee tables!! Yippee!!!

My one end table has a picture frame with multiple pictures that are all of me and my fiance. It also has a rock from either my fiances childhood farm, or his grandparents house (where his family moved to when they sold the farm).

The other end table has my college graduation picture in a frame my mom gave me for graduation. There is also a candle in a candle holder. There is also 2 letters K and J, which are my fiances and my initials cut out of wood. My sister made them for us when she was taking wood shop at school.
