I don't really have a home office but we have our desk in the room that I think was supposed to be a dining room. Instead of being a dining room it holds the desk, scrapbooking stuff, my big old trunk that has Christmas decorations in it and shelves that mostly store the kiddos crafts and games and more scrapping stuff. We used to call it the play room when the kids' toy boxes were in it. So more or less it's our miscellaneous room LOL!

So, do you have a home office or what room is your desk in?

We use our formal living room as a computer room/toy room/kids tv room. We are not the type of people who would have any use for a formal living room.

My computer desk is in the dinning room. Dh's home computer desk is also in the dinning room. The kids computer desk is in the front entry way. Dh's work computer desk is in our bedroom.

Ours is in the dining room. If someone wants to sit at the table, you can't sit at the computer, lol.

Ours is in what was at one time a bedroom, then we redid the room, took out a partial wall and made it into our diningroom. We used the diningroom a lot when the kids were a lot smaller and had parties for them, but it no longer got really used. So, we moved the diningroom table and chairs down to our lower level and turned it into our office.
It's right off the kitchen and in the same room as our patio doors so we get lots of sunshine to come in, don't have to use the lights much.

Ours is in a nook in our living room. And by home office, it's really a computer desk and a bookshelf.

We have one of those computer armoire thingys that you can close the doors to so that you can hide everything, in the corner of our living room. That is my little office space, so I can be on the computer and DD can play or watch tv in the same room as I am in most of the time.

I use a spare bedroom, it was to small to be functional as a bedroom anyway.
