Right now, mine has plastic on the floor and drywall waiting for a paint job! It will be exciting to start over.

I have a pretty loud color scheme - lime green walls, red couch, blue loveseat, yellow chaise lounge. My furniture design was actually called "Lips" because the back of the couches are curved in the shape of a top lip. There is a geometric area rug and throw pillows that brings all the colors together. I still can't believe I ever got my husband to go for this!

I must admit though - I'm starting to feel the need to grow up. This summer we are going to subdue our walls - I'm thinking more of a warm yellow/beige combination. After snapping tons of pics of DS in this room, I realize the bright green isn't as photogenic as I would like

I can't say that I really decorate at all. I guess that is one thing that is really, really low on the priority list!! 2 walls are a dark red and one is tan. It was that way when we bought the house. My couch is a flowered pattern and we have a mauve type recliner. Would never have been my choice, but the furniture was given to us and it works. It actually looks kinda nice.

My walls are camel on the top and bright white with chair and picture molding on the bottom. Our couch is red with a big floral pattern and the double chair is red with a green and tan threading that matches the flowers on the couch. Then we have a HUGE leather top coffee table that we got for $10 brand new (with a small scratch) at a Lane Furniture Warehouse-ish place. That room is actually a great room and also has another seating area with a green chair and another table (Alexander Julian) that we got for $5 at the same warehouse. There is also a mahogheny stereo from the 1950's (that we got free) that DH refurbished for a birthday gift for me. I love that room. We actually spend more time in a little den off the kitchen area though. Maybe we will use it more when the kiddos come!
Our house is full of furniture deals and gifts.

sage green walls, beige sectional couch that i would love to get rid of...entertainment center with tv, which are beginning to be outdated...ya know, when our kids are older, nobody will even have entertainment centers anymore. all tv's will be on the wall. anyway...barstools at the bar, and a black standard poodle usually laying stretched out along most of the couch.

Our livingroom has cream colored walls with one wall that has woodgrain paneling, I want to change that this summer. Then we have tan patterned Berber carpet with a hunter green reclining couch and a hunter green love seat. There is an endtable at each side of the couch and a mini endtable in hunter green color by the loveseat. We have a semi-big entertainment center that holds the tv, stereo system and knick-knacks, videos, DVDs, CDs, game systems and a few books. Then we have the usual pictures, shelves and a basket and crock for other items.

I moved all the toys to the basement and the girls really like it. It is their sanctuary. I had to put a comfy chair down here for me to sit in when I get tired of sitting on the floor with them.
