How do you get out set in ink stains? DD has 2 pair of pants that were given to us that have rather large(bigger than a pen point) stains on them. I have soaked them in powdered oxiclean for 2 days, but they are still there.

TIA

If they've already been washed/dried...you might try some of that carbona stuff for ink stains (little yellow bottle, usually in the laundry section of stores), that has worked for me in the past...but not every time. Ink can be tough to get out!

You can also try some of the other usual suspects...hairspray, rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover etc - it just depends on the fabric, the ink etc

Until you get it out (or give up LOL) don't put the item in the dryer.

I have used hairspray on ink stains before, and it has always removed the stain. I agree with Oregano, don't put it in the dryer till you spot treated it! Good Luck.

I would most definately try the items that Oregano listed. Myself hairspray has always worked.
You could also try "Goop Off" it is in the paint department, might also have it in the laundry detergent part not sure.
I read somewhere about "Magic Eraser".

Just remember to try all the products in a small hidden area first to see if it will make the color/colors run/fade.

Hair spray would be my first choice. Try it, then wash. If it didn't come out, I would spray it again with hairspray, then apply Shout or Spray n Wash and some liquid dish detergent. Wash again.

I agree with everyone else - hair spray!! I've used it before and it works great. Good luck!
