I ask because, really, I need to vacuum once a day. But I can never decide, should I vacuum in the morning or vacuum in the evening so when I wake up it will be good to go? The only problem is I really hate hearing the vacuum running at night. But morning always seems busy.

I know, I ask the BIG questions in life!

I have to vacumm daily, a toddler, two cats, a dog and a dh create a lot of dirt. I prefer to vacumm in the morning and get all the chores done before our daily activity. However, lately I have been vacumming about 4:00 because ds has been playing outside a lot now that it's not raining and he goes in and out all day. So, if I vacumm in the morning, it's a mess by 4. When dh gets home, the house is clean (so I look productive ) and I know the house is ready to go on Th and F when I babysit at 7am.
Sorry, I probably just mixed you up more! I guess my answer is that this time of year, it works better for me to vacumm in the late afternoon before dinner.

I don't. It's DH's job. He does the living room/kitchen about once a week. The rest of the house will be once a month. Unless we are entertaining. THAT'S when the house gets cleaned. The 3 days before company comes!

Yup I do it daily too. I try to do it several times a day if I can, but if I can get to it at least once, I'm happy.

I probably could vacuum every day, but I only vacuum 2-3 times a week. Unless it REALLY really needs it. And I vacuum any time from 8am-8pm. Whenever I get to it. I don't vacuum when the kids are in bed.

The whole house gets vacuumed once a week by the cleaning lady, and I vacuum after dinner every day.

I only have carpet on our stairs, hall and one bedroom which I vacuum once a week. The area rug in my living room at least once if not more. What can I say its the combo of kids and a dog!

Every other day.
