It seems like no matter what holiday even on Mother's Day there is bound to be something that needs cleaning!!

Were you left with a mess for today to clean?

or

Were you treated to a free cleaning and won't have to do that for let's say for at least one day?

I wish DH would have cleaned up yesterday... but oh well. I didn't do any cleaning- ie. dishes or picking up because DH told me he would do it before he went to bed. When I got up this morning it had not been done.... but part of me knew that it wasn't going to get done.

Yesterday, I did do a couple loads of laundry and I did change out our sheets and duvet cover last night, because DH and DD got me a new set for mother's day!

DH did the dishes but then for supper I warmed up leftovers and did those dishes myself. It was a help to have the lunch ones done though.

I actually cleaned up last night. Yeaterday was also the day we had ds's bday party since family was in town, so my house was a mess even though I had cleaned first thing in the morning getting ready. After everyone left yesterday, dh took ds to the park and I vacuumed and got the rest of the dishes rinsed and put in the dishwasher. He didn't want me to do anything, but I couldn't relax until it was clean. Today I'm just doing my usual daily and Monday chores: load of laundry, vacuum, change bed linens, etc. At least I don't have to dust or mop since it was done pre-party this weekend. So, not so bad

DAMMNNN! Where do I sign up for that??

The living room was already a mess, as was all 3 bedrooms. The kitchen wasn't too bad as I had cleaned it the day before. Dh and kids made dinner for me, my mom and MIL. He was going to leave the dishes piled up in the sink until I said "UM, I HOPE you don't think I'M cleaning those dishes". Then I went to bed. Well he did clean the dishes, but he left the salad bowl, and the dirty sauce pot on the table. And he never took the leaf out of the table or cleaned it.

they did suprise me with Krispy Kremes at work, that was cute and nice. Then I said, "did anyone clean my living room?" To which dh replied, "well I cleaned up the video games" UM swell, that was about a quarter of the mess. I suppose I need to take what I can get.
