Stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer, dryer, microwave, freezer are all white. Toaster, kitchen aid mixer, can opener are stainless steel.

If the appliance is below the countertop (stove, dishwasher, trash compactor), then it is black. If it is above the countertop (microwave), it is white. The refrigerator is white because the cabinets that flank it are white.

I hate white countertop appliances. I used to have a white coffeepot and toaster. The white yellowed from the exposure to the heat. My coffeepot is now black. My toaster is stainless with black trim.

I have other items that add accent color, but not in my appliances. I'm also not a fan of the stainless fad.

omg dont remind me my mothers whole house was 70's green and gold!!!! blah blah even her entire kitchen applinces and all were avocado green

Everything is stainless steel - my hood, stove top, refrig, microwave, oven, DW, my coffeemaker and my Kitchenaid stand mixer. I love to keep them without finger prints - but of late my DD (1 year old) is licking them, so I don't clean them with my dear Weimans.

Well we have white refrigerator and white dishwasher (comes w/ townhouse) but our microwave is black, our stand mixer is white, our crock pot is stainless and our toaster is red (which I love, wish our other appliances were that color!)... oh and our foreman grill has a blue bun warmer on top!... so we don't have one color, but LOTS of them...LOL

In Our Next house We are Going with Wood grain Paneled That is the same as the Cabinets everything.
That is The Best looking Thing I ever Saw. I Can't wait.

My fridge, stove & dishwasher are white. My small appliances are white also and when our microwave died earlier this year we replaced it with a black & stainless one. I don't remember if they didn't have white micros. or we just liked the features on this one; I think it was the later we liked the features.
