Ours is buttery cream. I love it for its goes well with the maple cabinets and brightens up the room. I love bright rooms.

I don't know what an ideal kitchen color is, but I think something light. My kitchen is yellow on top and the bottom is wood paneling with molding. I think it's too dark, even with the yellow.

I just painted ours last fall to a soft semi-medium shade of pastel yellow on the top half, the bottom half has white woodgrain backsplash paneling with a chair rail at the top of it. I like this color because it brightens up the room and makes it feels cheery and inviting.

I think that an ideal kitchen color should be bright, inviting, something that gives it that warm feeling of having just baked that fresh loaf of bread, if that makes sense. I read on this website were reds, oranges & yellows are inviting, warming and appealing.

Right now our kitchen is the same as when we moved in, so there is no 'color'. I need to take a pic, maybe I have one on this puter somewhere. The walls are paneling and Marlite, and the counters are red. I HATE it. Let me see if I have that pic,you guys will laugh like we are still in 1972.

Okay here ya go. The ONLY things that have changed is I no longer have that table clothe, we changed the fridge to the one that was in my grandparents house, (still could use a new one) and the microwave is on the oppside side of the counter now. There was no stove when we moved in so that is new.

Our kitchen is currently cream and mint green. Dh and I are planning on painting it this summer though to pumpkin and vanilla. I can't seem to find a good picture of that color combo though, but I think I'll really like it. I hope I really like it!
