Ok girls. I am finally motivated to get my spring cleaning started and done. Where do I start? I'm thinking I should declutter first, then start the deep cleaning. (I mean declutter like cleaning off the dining room table and the counters and things like that!) Is that where you would start? Then do you take it room by room? Start with the public areas and work your way to the bedrooms and such?

I usually start in the back and work my way to the front. I take all of the curtains down in the bedrooms and throw them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. I just have toppers so they just get dusty. Then I take all of the blinds down and take them outside spray them with the hose and then spray with the scrubbing bubbles.

While they soak I wash the comforters if they need it and then clean the carpets and wash the windows but I try to wash my windows at least every 3 months.

There really is no right or wrong way to spring clean, just pick an area and clean away!

I think its best to start with something easy and work your way up. Baby steps! Once you get through something easy, like maybe cleaning out a cupboard or a fridge, you'll be motivated to keep going.
