I really haven't gotten to much done in the house today, it is really, really nice out and our town also has city wide garage sales.

So I have been going to a few of those and I have been busy getting painting done outside, it's just the right temperature for that and then I don't have to think about it later on this summer.

My cleaning has consisted of:

-Going to 4 sales so far.
-Getting the white trim painted on the garage doors and side door.
-I also got our glider restained.

Have you done any cleaning or are you just enjoying the weather outside (if you have nice weather)?

Countdown Clocks

My parents are flying in this afternoon to visit us for 5 days, so I got up extra early so I could SUPER clean the whole house! Dh is outside mowing and trimming the grass. All I have left to do is go to the grocery store to pick up a few things, and then off to the airport!

I'm at the paid gig now, but I got up early and put away the backlog of four or five folded loads of laundry. They were bugging me.

raked the leaves in the condo complex we live in( they cut trees down) and then went and raked the elderly gentleman's yard that backs onto our condo complex area...he is 90 and i do not like to see him doing it.

- made our bed
- emptied the dishwasher
- mopped 1/2 the kitchen floor *
- emptied the laundry baskets and sorted laundry
- cleaned the main bathroom *
- made a crockpot dinner
- dusted the kids' bedroom
- vacuumed most of the house

* used vinegar for washing the floor for the first time. Liked the smell much better than a chemical solution but had to scrub harder.
